Summertime

Hello friends. Sorry I haven't really posted anything for the past month or so. I've been having a great but very unusual summer. I was gone for almost six weeks with just a couple quick stops at home. Ashokan, Pinewoods, Kanack, Wilburland, etc. Been having an awesome time. So many great friends, great music and dancing, singing songs late at night, being continually reminded of how fortunate I am and how incredibly charmed my life is. But it's also been tough being gone for so long. Anyway, I finally got home a week ago and I've been re-adjusting and settling in a little. Catching up on booking stuff. Watching lots of X Files with Sarah. Took a trip to the zoo! Don't really have any pics from Ashokan or Pinewoods unfortunately but here are a couple pics from Fiddle Camp at The Kanack School of Music in RochesterYesterday Sarah, Dan, Anna and I celebrated Summer Fun Day #2 up on Lake Ontario. First we went swimming (of course). Then we played a game of Bohnanza which ended in an unprecedented FOUR-WAY TIE!!! Then we had dinner at Rudy's Lakeside fish fry in Oswego followed by epic ice creamAnd we finished up by watching Young Frankenstein. So there you go. Yesterday I got up to Sylvan Beach on Oneida Lake to see the LITTLE GULL that's been there all week.
