Birds: MNWR & Irondequoit Bay

Hello all. On Wednesday I went birding at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge and Irondequoit Bay in Rochester. I tallied about 60 birds for the day. Here are some of the highlights:

Eurasian Wigeon (with Ring-necked Duck)

Little Gull (with Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls)

Lesser Black-backed Gull (with mostly Ring-billed Gulls)

Cackling Goose

Hudsonian Godwit

All five were new for my year list, bringing my North American 2007 total up to 338!
